Belated lucid task - dolphins

Haven't gone lucid in some time and I was feelin rather pissy last night - so, thought I'd try a little LD cocktail before bed (200mg B-6, 400mg Valerian). What I got was a dream that would have been the lucid task of the month some time ago, can't remember when - Talk to a Dolphin

Resulting Dream:

I'm somewhere outside (maybe a park). There's a large lake (I'd say it was the ocean, but there was no beach, it was just grass up to the edge, then water). I notice dark shapes in the water - dolphins! I start screamin like a maniac, running towards the water as I'm tearing my clothes off. Other people and children notice and follow. I get down to my undies (

) and dive in.

Not sure exactly when, but I believe I went lucid under the water. I think it was as I was trying to swim deep that I thought "aw, this sucks, I can't go deeper than 8ft or my ears will start to hurt - oh wait, I'm dreaming, I can go wherever I want!".

Dolphis were everywhere and I was swimmin around with them and brushing my hands across them as they swam by. There were these other "creatures" that were kind of seal-like. A bunch of them came around me. Their rib area seemed more shaped like that of a dog's. One of them came up to me, put it's mouth around my cheek and latched on - like a sucker fish. I had to swim around with him on my face for a bit - got irritated and said something about it. I think it understood and latched off, gave me a kiss then swam away.

There was this dolphin lady creature that I engaged in conversation with. She was like the queen or mother of the dolphins I think. Can't remeber all we talked about, but I asked "so, how many languages do you all speak?" and she said "Just two: English.... and Canadian" - I just started cracking up with the rest of the dolphns.

At some point, I got out of the water and I was on this loose wooden deck out over the water. I could see some dolphins through the cracks in the floorboards. There were some inspectors or people deciding on what to do about the dolphins. We were standing by these hollowed out tree trunks that stood up from the water, through the deck and listening. I would ask a question and the dolphins would answer through the "tubes". One guy, like the mayor or something had to decide on who should study this phenomenon, a marine biologist, or some government agency. The debate was that the marine biologist would embrace this new breakthrough - the government agency would see it as a threat and kill the dolphins. I think I convinced the mayor to choose the biologist (I'm such a tree-huggin hippy! lol) and as I walked off the deck onto the land the whole area around us thrashed with dolphins that were lurking there unnoticed listening - they were heading back down into the deep.
