Well, after a week of just about nothing whatsoever, I just had another LD. It's been a week since my last one, my 0.5 lucid dream, where I became lucid only to be instantly and violently blasted out of the dream. While I was doing laundry, no less...

Anyways, last night I had been doing a lot of reading and talking about LDs, and I decided I'd try sleeping on my back, since I hear a lot of how bad sleeping on your front is. I can't remember if I actually managed it, as I find my back quite uncomfortable to lie on.

Anyways, I was having some rather normal dreams for a bit, until for some reason, I did an RC with my watch. I couldn't help but notice the numbers changed on it, and became lucid. I was in the middle of a large crowd listening to some people playing the piano at a virtuosic level. I play the piano, so I figured, "Since I'm lucid, why don't I show them up a bit?". Unfortunately, I think I got just a little excited here, and the dream started to fade. I tried spinning, but it didn't work, so I just ran over the crowd, desperate to save the dream.

It didn't work, and I ended up in my room, at night. I was still dreaming, and still lucid, though. I had some fun, involving writing stuff, looking at stuff on the internet, and (don't ask why I did it) running outside of my room here at university completely naked. Unfortnately, I soon realized that even while lucid, I was just as embarassed as in real life, so I went (with some difficulty) back to my room and put my clothes back on. I also tried to fly, but couldn't. I think it's because I didn't have enough confidence... I thought about jumping out my window, but decided against it -just in case- I was actually awake, even though I knew I wasn't...

Anyways, I can't remember how, but I lost that part of my dream too, and ended up walking to one of my classes in the morning. This part was exceptionally real to me, and quite vivid. There was frost and ice on the ground, and I was walking carefully to avoid slipping. When I remembered my LD, it occurred to me that I couldn't remember my morning, so I did another RC. I could barely believe I was dreaming, and got too excited. It stated to fade, and even though doing some things (ie. rubbing my hands together) helped a little, it was no use. So, I just decided, "What the heck?" and started running as the world around me faded to grey. I tried to go back, but I could feel my real body, and knew it was over.

I finally remembered to do an RC as soon as I woke up! I also wrote the whole thing down in great detail. Even though nothing exceptionally cool happened, I still had far more control than in my first LD, and it seemed more real.

Thoughts? How did I do? What should I do next time?
