      MY 1ST WILD EXPERIENCE

      Im literally shaking right now...

I know its kind of nubish to start a new topic for this but i got so close to WILDing but i just got scared...ive only been practicing lucid for one week...i needed tips on how to not get freaked out and wake up...so here we go

      1. I was starting to fall asleep normally when i said to myself "I'm going to sleep...why not"

      2. So I started to watch the patterns but I focused to strongly and my eyes watered and they opened so I said well thats the end of that

      3. I close my eyes again The Patterns Were Still There! So i remembered Seekers advice and just watch them go bye...

      4. Suddenly I just feel like I'm falling right to sleep

      5. Then the freaky part...my body slipped into sleep paralysis it was the most unforgetable feeling its amazing...you just feel like your leaving your body entirely..and i was conscience the whole time...

      6. Thats when I freaked out because I was a mix of excited that I was about to lucid and I was freaked out because I couldn't feel my body and I just remembered all the stories about people WILDing...

Please help me with the transistion..I'm soo excited I just got outta bed and posted after calling my friend...wow amazing feeling still peace

p.s. sorry for being a noob

First off congrats on your first WILD attempt. My only advice is that you should practice it over and over until the feeling is like second nature to you, because no matter how hard i tried to stay calm during a WILD the first few times, the fear/excitement consumed me and interupted the process.

      Just relax

You were on your way there, next time just try to relax as your body begins to go numb. I used to get too excited when I reached this stage and would often wake up before LD. Now when I reach this stage, I just lie in bed and do not move my body in any way. Soon after I feel released from my sleeping body and find myself in my LD body with all my 5 senses active and ready to explore the dream world setting!

Gratz on your first WILD experience. I have the same problem when I try to WILD. My eyes always open because I am concentrating to much. Next time try to relax more and remind yourself it is normal.

my eyes allways feel weird too, so I have to open them. Most of the times after a few seconds I just see Stuff again...

But you did WILD with no WBTB? I kind of hate WBTB becouse getting up in the middle of the night is a pain in the ass =)

Yeah my eyes watered and I didn't wipe them and just closed them agian and they kind of sealed shut. I didn't WBTB because when I do try and do that I just pass out.

sleep paralysis can be frightening until you get used to it. just ALWAYS remember- not a damn thing can happen to you except falling asleep, or getting too excited and waking up. nothing else...

so...why not stay calm and carry lucidity into the dream

personally, i couldn't handle the vibrations at first, but i've come to love them- it means i have an excellent opportunity to enter a LD
