After trying for two whole months, I finally had a lucid dream! And it wasn't just a beginner lucid. It lasted a while. I've gotten into the habit of going to bed late and getting up at 12 over break, and that's not good for dreams. I'm surprised I had this when I haven't even been remembering my dreams.

I don't even remember the first dream I had, but I was in front of the computer doing something. My mom had brought me home from school and then gone to the grocery store. I was alone, playing some boring game in the dark. It was almost a nightmare. But then my mom came home. She said something and I replied. I looked down at the computer clock and it said 1:42. I thought "did I have a half day?". I looked at the clock again and it said 2:24. In a normal dream I would have dismissed this, but instead I chuckled and thought "maybe I'm dreaming". I pressed my finger to my hand, but it didn't hurt. So I pressed harder and my finger went through. I ran down stairs and yelled to my mom "I"M DREAMING!!!" She said something like "whatever", but I didn't want to argue. I did one more RC then went outside. I tried to fly. I tried to fly by flapping but my arms got tired. And my mind wouldn't let me just fly. So I thought about what else I wanted to do. Then I started losing it. I thought about where my body was, because I couldn't remember. I wondered if I was sleeping at school (I forgot I was on break). Anyway, I wanted to drive the car. It still felt like a lucid, but I was doing things in the car I never would have done if I was really lucid. I circled the house through the yard, then drove out on the street, and then I shifted to another, non lucid dream.
