First lucid in a long time.

I had a random lucid last night, still very blurry in my mind. I can remeber being in a futuristic like scene, and thats when I caught on to the fact that i was dreaming. Then I cant remember what happened for the next little while, then I was flying... well gliding was more like it. I was not sure if I was truely lucid or not, seeming as I can't remember it very well and for what I can remember of it, I didnt really make a big deal about it. Very hard to explain, kind of like being half lucid, yet half not lucid. This seems to happen to me a lot, I become lucid yet still play along with whats going on with my dream, almost like it was a normal everyday event. For example: I had a dream I was in one of my sonic racing games. I was sonic, and I was loosing the race. I became lucid, yet instead of saying "Hey! I'm lucid, i'm going to fly somewhere, or talk to my dream guide", I simply used my lucidity to get ahead in the race, once again, as if it was an everyday event. I then got sucked back into the dream within seconds.

I've had lucid dreams before (in fact, just a few days ago) where my recall of the dream was a bit fuzzy. Also, I've had them where I know that I'm dreaming, but seem to forget that I can control things. As long as you do realize that it's a dream, then it is a lucid dream. Although many people refer to these kind of "borderline" dreams as "semi-lucid". Don't worry too much about it -- with practice and confidence, I'm sure that you will be able to remember them better, and have more control (if you want it).
