First lucid, fell flat on my face

Last night I had my first lucid since I began reading this site and other information on the topic. A bunch of weird things happened that aren't really important, but then my dad and I drove away in a car. I performed a RC on the clock and noticed that each time I looked at it, the time was different. As I realized this more and more it stopped even being numbers, but being a digital clock it still lit up the little "bars" as if trying to make a number so I wouldn't catch on (hehe)
It felt so real, but my RC had told me that either his clock was broken or I was in a dream. Against my better judgement, I got out of the car and tried to fly. We stopped near a pond and a hill, and I took a leap of faith off the hill and landed straight into the pond. My dad seemed confused but he laughed at me anyway. I reached my arms out and tried to lift myself in desperation, but no luck. I was starting to think I wasn't dreaming. But as one last attempt I began to spin. No luck. I tried one last time, thinking hard about where I wanted to go, and the area around me started to change. I squinted my eyes really hard, concentrating on where I wanted to go, and as I opened them I woke up.

I tried to fly in my first LD and I recived similar results to yourself basiclay all i can say is try either just feeling like your really light and floating away or just feel like your jumping high then increase the jumping till you fly. Good luck.

Turn on a fan or something to get the sensation of flying and then jump?
Do you know where you are?
