I've been busy, so I'm not going to type much. I already wrote this LD in my journal.
Well, first of all, I'm very happy . I practiced Reality checking and environmental checking every moment I can and every little thing that seemed odd.
"I was in my dream. And I just suddenly said, "I know I'm dreaming.. Do I still have to do a reality check?" I think *I should anyways, so that it'll keep me more lucid.*I look at a sign, look away remembering the sign. Look back, and it was the same.
I thought *a friend on dreamviews said that text looks the same in the dreamviews sometimes. But I'm going to try one more time and it will be different.*
Looked away, looked back, and right before my eyes the text started changing slowly. And I knew I was dreaming.
"
Generally, I'm a very excited person in real life. And I'm always talkative, and expressive, etc. So I would think that staying calm would be hard. But instead.
"
I thought *I better not be excited, or I'll awake up just like that other guy on dreamviews chat.*
I walked around. With a specific intent in mind. But I eventually woke up.
"
I had a lucid dream, I told myself. Why am I not excited? Even in real life, I had no emotion. I didn't understand myself. I patted my shoulder (lol Im talking to myself) saying, good job and stuff.
I wrote everything down as fast as I can after I had one of the shortest showers in my life.
It was very hard to remember the details of what I was capable of doing and not doing. I don't remember why I didn't think "This could be real life" and why I suddenly knew I was dreaming without any prior logical thinking.
And today, 2 days after, or one maybe, I don't remember much. Dream recollection is VERY important I learned. The few moments after waking up, I began to not remember the sensation of a lucid dream.
-Preperation-
Well, Asher and Barbizzle's advice were really important to me to develop my lucid abilities.
-I do about 7 reality checks per hour during the school day, and more whenever something weird happens.
I question my environemnt.
-I trrried to sleep at 10, only to fall asleep much later.
-I talked to as many friends as I could about Lucid dreaming the day before that lucid dreaming. and it worked.
Thanks guys!
