I WAS LUCID!!

YES! When I woke up this morning at 9, I got my cats out of my room and went back to bed. Just before I drifted back to sleep, I thought "Why not try to become lucid?" so I kept telling myself "Don't forget that you're dreaming..." Then I saw really strange stuff, and then I was on the street, and I realized that I was indeed dreaming! I tried to float and YEAH! It worked! I flew for a while (which amazingly enough worked straight away), and I wanted to change the scenery, but it didn't work. When my dream started to fade, I tried to spin and rub, and everything went amazingly clear. It was so unbelievably realistic! I did another RC, just to be sure I was dreaming, since everything was so amazingly realistic! I kind of forgot what i did next , but then I woke up. I tried to float and I realized it was a false awakening! So I flew some more, drove a car (i'm underage ) , and woke up again. I tried to float, to no avail. I woke up for real (I thought) , but I woke up in an Indian's cab. I lost lucidity, but I remember it still very well. The Indian jumped out of the car and the car kept driving, so I jumped out also. But then the car steered for itself, and hit another car. So I thought, this is bad, I have to stop it. I went after the car and got hold of it and stopped it. The police came, I explained, and then I woke up, this time really for real. Wow, this is such a wonderful experience. I want it again 8) So much fun... Question 1: Is there a good way to learn how to change the scenery? Question 2: I really want to go to the moon. Anybody went there already?

WOOOT!!! Congrats man! Now that you know what it is like, I bet you are hungry for more! LDs are the most amazing things and change the way you look at the world. Q1: Yes, you can do so easily, all you need is confindence that you can do it. Your confidence will increase as you have more lucid dreams. Start out small, I mean you already flew, right? then work up to more difficult things. Q2: Nope, never been able to break out of orbit =P

Awesome, Sam! Now that you know what it's like, it should be easier for you to repeat the experience, and as Seeker said, work your way up to having more control over the dream world. Good job!
