Thread: Limitations

What, in your dreams, often can you not do, such running.

Some of mine are:

Inability to see correctly
Inability to run - common
inability to fight

In non-lucid dreams:
Controlling a car
Yelling
Sometimes running
Remembering the combination to my locker
Remembering where I parked the car!

In my lucid dreams:
Finding things or others
Sometimes trying to fly to a destination (I always get distracted and never get there!)

interesting topic....

i find :

i can't walk properly - all bouncy and my legs won't work
inability to fight properly - putting all my strength into a non-exsistant punch that just 'slides' down someone

can't think of anything else at the mo...

Oh yeah and majority of the time even in Lucid Dreams I have a hard time Locating Seekers car also. HAHA!!

Most of the time, its failure to recognize that i am, in fact, dreaming!

Inability to run/walk properly (fast) also happens a lot to me!

The few times I've been lucid I couldn't see. Everything started to go black and I woke up. I couldn't fly the first time I tried. I can fly now but only slow, like walking in the air.

In non lucid dreams:
Inability to think clearly
Cant rise above few meters if experiencing some form of hovering.
Cant lose a fight

lucid dreams:
have trouble summoning people.
have trouble keeping scene coherent (dream jumps are common)
have trouble flying into space.

Boy only a few hours and already 6 post.

Another thing that "sometimes" happens is inability to stay on the ground, I just float away by the wind, and I cant get down. -This one really bites.

I have the common ones...inability to fight at times..can,t run away from something or for something..I am unable to get to get to work on time..I hate that one anyways..I think if your dreaming of work you should get paid double time when you get up and go in.

Like Seeker, not being able to remember my locker combo happens a lot to me in non-lucid dreams. And I haven't even used a locker in 6 years.

In an annoying lucid dream I had last night I was unable to summon a character, nor was I able to perform magic. Interestingly though I never seem to have any trouble flying or floating. I always do it automatically when I become lucid.

I can't fly. Period.

I can also never summon The White Stripes to play me a private concert... Oh well...

I really hate it when I try to run... sometimes I'll just trip up and fall. Flying on the other hand, is easy, unless I'm being chased. When that happens I just end up supermanning into the pavement.

In non lucid dreams I used to have trouble talking properly (I can trace it back to a nightmare I had as a child) but recently in a lucid dream I managed to cure it. I can't stop talking in dreams now. I'm having trouble controlling my flight in lucid dreams too but I'm getting there slowly.

Another fluke I often have is lack of light. I find myeslf turning on all lights to get enought light to watch T.V. Whitch doesn't need light to use.
