my turn (first lucid exp.)

yes its finaly happened... my dream wasnt spectacular. it starts out, some friends and I are walking through the downtown part of the city i live in. we are going to lazer-quest (a cool lazer tag place) but the building is not its usual building. it is the building of the new mall we have downtown. but its still "lazer-quest" you know. we walk inside and get pay for our game and then spend and hour or so looking for the way into the actual maze thing that the game is played in (if youve ever played lazer tag you know its usualy played in a dark maze cause lazers show up in dark foggy rooms) any way we wonder around this huge building looking everywhere for how to get in. then i stumble upon this computer lab in a glass room as im looking around. as soon as im inside the lab the building is no longer the lazer-quest. it is now lewis and clark highschool (a local HS........ that ive..... never ever seen the inside of ) Said lab is on the front end of the building and i walk strait threw it and out the front door (apparently ive lost all drive for going and playing lazerquest.) as soon as i get outside the building has changed location to a sparcely populated area like a residential area. and the building is no longer the highschool but a pawn one building (it went from lazerquest to HS to pawnshop in the time it takes to walk 30 ft.) so im walking away from this building thinking about how fucking wierd it was that that building changed when i see these two gangster kids walking toward me on the sidewalk in front of me. i become lucid at this point. i turn around thinking how cool it is that ive finaly realized that i am dreaming (i have not been journaling or looking for dreamsigns or anything so im pretty lucky). then i tear off running to this basket ball court that is on the left side of the pawnshop ive just walked out of and circle this shed thats right next to it. as i come around the shed i see the gangster kids running strait for me. and im like "alright this is a dream... its on BITCH!" i beat the crap out of the first kid fist fighting style. then i did the same to the second kid matrix kung-fu style. as im walking away from the fight i wonder what else i should do so i deside just as im walking up to the street... you guessed it.... to FLY!!! (i know im so original ) the thing is there are a number of big trees on the side of the road and their bare branches (its fall time and slightly damp out) get in my way. here i am slowly lifting off when i get caught under the branches of these stupid trees and im all ready to fly out into space and stuff. i spend the remainder of the dream trying to get out from under the trees.... there it is. my first LD. not as spectacular as i had hoped but a major accomplishment none the less. now all i gotta do is figure out how to make them more frequent and make them more vivid/lucid. later.... ~Matt
