I do like vampire books though. Here's a link to a "furry" story I once read that was the catalyst for my fantasy.

I kinda get what you're on to, though I can't share it much with you although in it's essence it's a pretty hot idea and I plan to try it out at some point in an LD. In fact I heard of this idea multiple times from others. I mean.. cat girls are hot to a certain extent. It probably evolved from me watching the musical Cats when I was 12... half naked hot girls in skin-tight cat costumes? WESTERN CULTURE WHAT HAVE YOU DONE No but seriously.. I'd never want to be killed in a dream. I'd accept this idea as far as the outer appearance is concerned but not more than that. Also it should be min. 80% human.

Interesting, I wish I could remember the title of that Sci-Fi novel I read one time, I think it was by Harry Harrison. Setting was the far future and the human genome had pretty much accumulated so much junk in it that people were sickly and dying. They then began splicing in DNA segments from other animals, like cats, dogs, and such to improve it. These new beings were still human, but had an animals strength, health, and sex drive.

I've had dreams that had elements of yours, though never something quite like that. When I was younger, I used to commit dream-suicide quite often. For some reason, it left me with this warm, fuzzy feeling, and I quite enjoyed it. I've dreamt of being a furry on a couple of occasions, not nearly as often as I would like, though. And as for love, that is one of the things that I seek in a dream; I mean love with feeling, not just something physical. Being in love in a dream is one of the best feelings I have ever experienced, and a few short seconds can leave me feeling good for the whole day.

Though my dream recall rate isn't what I would like it to be, I know that even before I started experimenting with LD that I died often in my dreams. As a result, I no longer fear death. Don't misunderstand, I don't welcome it...but when it comes I will go quietly. I have faith I've nothing to worry about. As for love, I don't look for it in the waking world. There, genuine love is simply too scarce and I don't care to wade through its counterfeit companion for any period of time in order to procure the real thing.
