Questions About DC's

A few questions about DC's... In a Lucid-Dream a while back i went into A&W a fasst food place. I saw my teacher and was staring at her surprised... Would she be considered my first DC And another person in my dream is my friend dad? he only came into my dream once but would he be considered a DC? If so why can't i have made up characters as DC's? or just meet a random person? Can someone help? Thanks

As far as I know the people in your dreams are all dream characters. I see many people I know in my dreams and other times I see mostly unfamiliar people. If lucid in your dream you should think about the person you want to see and sometimes they'll show up. My strangest experience with a DC was a while back in a dream. I was standing in a dark open area and as I was walking forward I saw a figure. When I was almost next to the figure I realized it was actually my double looking at me. He was just standing there looking at me with a pleasant expression on his face, when I made eye contact I gained his perspective. It was strange to be looking into my own eyes. I woke up shortly after because the feeling was almost too intense. Perhaps thinking about the people or type of people you want to see before you fall asleep will also help you out.

All characters human or otherwise in any dream lucid or non-lucid is technically a dream character (DC). So I sincerely doubt that was your first, you've probably come across thousands more.
