Had a incredibly realistic false awakening last week.

I was napping in my living room and dreaming about why my girl had rearranged
all the bedroom furniture to resemble a wall. I knew it was a dream but couldn't
quite make the switch to lucidity. Woke up and sat up on the couch. Stood up,
stretched and yawned and walked to the bathroom which is in my bedroom.
As I'm walking I'm thinking about how I was happy to recognize that dream sign
even though I didn't go full lucid. Better luck next time.

I walk in my bedroom and the furniture is all pushed together just like it was in my
dream ! I'm like, wtf?, I'm still asleep!

I have NEVER had a lucid so realistic before. I could feel the carpet under my feet
and the change in temperature between the two rooms. The furniture was the only
thing out of place. I was so amazed that I was still asleep that I started giggling
like mad thinking of all the stuff I was going to do. I pinched my nose and took a deep breath to solidify my knowledge of lucidity and started rubbing my hands together
cause at this point I was getting excited and didn't want to spoil it. That always helps
me concentrate.
As I'm trying to decide if I should use the stairs or fly out the window into the
blazing Summer sunshine I've prepared for myself my FOOKING CELL PHONE
STARTS RINGING!
An adventure cut short but still an adventure. It's nice to know that I can have
lucids of that caliber; I have a new standard now. If I can do it once, I can do it again.
