couple of questions about The Tasks

Are those 2 monthy tasks actually possible? is it really possible to have so much control over your dreams that you could call lightning down? The last LD i remember having was when i was littler. I was in a really strange version of my scool, and there were pipes running down the walls, thru walls from one side of the hallway to the other. This was my dreamsign, and i became Lucid. But the wierd part was, i was Lucid, completely conscious, but i accepted my completely wierd surroundings as if they are normal and ive been seeing them my whole life, and continued the dream consciously, without even thinking about the wierd dream school. Does anybody have any ideas about why it didnt dawn on me that all these pipes were out of place?

We usually get about 20 people a month that complete the tasks. Usually the same people though O_o

I think it is possible. Obviously others do too. You can do anything you want to in your dreams.

I think the better question to ask is "is it really possible to have so much control over your beliefs?" because you can do in your dream whatever you believe is possible. I did the lucid task last night, but I've also had a dream where I was struck by lightning while not lucid, it happened purely from dream incubation (willing it to happen before falling asleep).

Tasks I would like someday: EZ task: Find a DC, and cream him at VGs!! Hard Task: Try to look at a clock and read a book, and tell Seeker what they said. These are the tasks I could never do: EZ task: Learning to like yourself... Hard task: Working on a team with a whole bunch of DCs.

Not the good self-esteem one and the team one, I hope. I suck at teams, and I have bad self-esteem! Capture the flag in a Nintendo game, however, would be just fine(like in SMB)!

Next months tasks are already decided and Aphius is working on the badges now. Sorry to say capture the flag is not one of them. The basic task is truly basic this time. Piece of cake. The advanced task is really difficult.

That would be especially cool if I was in SSBR as Lyn doing the flag thing and KOing the opponents along with it. How I would love to see 3d Lyn.....but that won't happen until I master Blender! BTW, I think you are the best artist on here, Aphius!! ...maybe the LD task should be making a 3d object in Blender/3ds/Maya that some people may not be talented at.
