Hmmm, a little more info would help.
How long have you been trying to LD?
What induction method are you using?
      Do you use Reality Checks?
Do you keep a dream journal?
      etc.

If you have just started out (within the past 3 months) I don't think you have anything to worry about, some people just take longer to LD than others.
The fact that LD's are apparent in your non- lucid dreams suggests that your mind is thinking about it in your dreams and is very reassuring (you already have one foot in the door)
One thing I would suggest is to RC everytime you think about LD's, you should then be able to notice that if someone else is having an LD it must mean that you are.
      Hope this helps
      Are you dreaming or awake?

      Hey Skippr,

I always seems to dream that someone else is having a lucid dream and not me! [/b]
Anytime you say the phrase "I always seem to dream..." you're describing a dreamsign. Make a commitment right now that from now on whenever someone else says they're having/had a lucid dream (whether a friend, family member, or reading it here on the boards) you will check to see if you are dreaming yourself.

With enough practice, you will remember this behavior and carry it into your dreams.

Hi thanks for all your responses.

I never thought of that as a dream sign!

And to explain further..... in my dream, i would be watching someone else sleeping and in their sleep they are having a LD.
Its either at a big table, or im in a television studio and its part of a programme and i think nothing of it, i dont even seem to remember that im trying to have a LD? i find it so hard to think in my dream, i just seem to do without thinking??

You just need to learn a bit of control. Sometimes the surroundings in dreams are so much that we find that we are so caught up in the dream world to 'think' or control our dreams. First, you need to learn to realize that you are dreaming. It'll build from there.
