Are those 2 monthy tasks actually possible? is it really possible to have so much control over your dreams that you could call lightning down?

The last LD i remember having was when i was littler. I was in a really strange version of my scool, and there were pipes running down the walls, thru walls from one side of the hallway to the other.

This was my dreamsign, and i became Lucid. But the wierd part was, i was Lucid, completely conscious, but i accepted my completely wierd surroundings as if they are normal and ive been seeing them my whole life, and continued the dream consciously, without even thinking about the wierd dream school.

Does anybody have any ideas about why it didnt dawn on me that all these pipes were out of place?
