Is it supposed to hurt?

A year ago I had a dream in which I was imprisoned in some sort of concentration camp type situation where we were forced to work. I could tell that I had been there for a while because my clothes were dirty and ripped almost too much to be of any use.

I knew i didn't belong here as soon as it happened, but I chose to play along out of artistic obligation. The younger members of the camp had organized thmeselves to plan an escape in which we would break out and attempt to get help, bring it back, and free the rest of our families. The penalty for escape attemopts was very high, but we chose take the risk anyway...we had nothing to lose after all. So we made up a very speciifc plan, everyone has her own duty to help us all get out safely and end the constant torment of beatings at dawn, gang rapes in the shower of both sexes

and random public torture. One of us was a skilled blacksmith before his capture and used the bonfire in the middle of the camp to fashion tools to make a hole in the fences surrounding us; another, who had been a circus performer, volunteered to scale the 15ft electric fence in the 5 minute window that our electrician friend could keep the power off. needless to say, I felt that things weren't going to work out from the beginning and I went along with it. The girl who was an acrobat was electrecuted before she made it over, which drew attention to the large group gathered in the shdows.

We scattere like cockroaches as we were pursued by an army of uniformed madmen wielding rifles. The penalty for failed escape attempts was either 32 hrs of torture (possible rape) or execution on the spot. Since nothing bad ever happens to me, i gave up after ten minutes and let myself be captured thinking I would still be saved...

I was dragged off and shot in the head at close range. I woke up crying with an excruciating headache and the feeling that my heart had shattered into thousands of tiny pieces.

I don't have pain in my dreams, but I can get really cold. In one of my last LDs, I was in a forest and I desided to walk in a stream. After a while, my feet got so cold, I thought I had lost them! I proceeded to go looking for my feet and found that they were right where they should be, attached to my legs! haha!
