Good or Bad?

I always believed that one should pratice ethics in their lucid dreams just as they would in waking life. That said. I had a diagreement with a freind who believes in the opposite. But before you think he is some evil person question what his reasoning is. In real life there are actions and feelings that we all supress from time to time. He feels that it's your mind's opprotunity to let go of all those inhibitions. act opon and perform "Bad" things in your dreams to counter effect your feelings while your awake. In return your demons will be satisfied.

In return your demons will be satisfied. in my opinion your friend is right when dreaming, however, when Lucid I opted for more positive wonderful loving things. I leave it to my uncontrolled dreams to handle all the weird junk that needs to be released. Blissful

I think the behavior practised in the dream world will influence the waking world. The behavior practised in waking life, will influence dreaming life. It also depends on whether or not you think the dream world is another reality, or merely creations of our beautiful minds. A line needs to be drawn, as in all circumstances involving self control. It is the individual person that needs to draw the line for themself.

Ya I still believe in ethics. I have had a good dream which effects me in a good manner the next day. I would have to believe if in my dreams I were to create mahem, havoc, & strife that it would linger in my thoughts while I was awake. No?

It's pretty simple, You cannot have contradictions in your mind, especially with ethics

But when you contradict yourself it is some times unaviodable. Insn't it? Like a thought or a feeling. its an afterthought. You Know what I mean? (Prometheus - Hows the Lucid dreaming & the math stuff going for you?)

I'm still just working on gettin a solid foundation in the dream world... seems to be going pretty fast though no math until then...
