Woke from a good non LD and re-entered Lucid

This has happened only a few times in my life. But when I'm able to accomplish it, its something worth writing about.

I had an intense, non-lucid dream last night during the later hours of my sleep. Although it has been nearly 15 years since I've graduated high school, I've had dreams about a girl from my high school years named Achelle recently. The weird thing is, I was never infatuated with her nor did I have a big crush on her. I just seems odd that I've been having re-occuring non LD about her.

Anyway, my non lucid dream consisted of Achelle catching me off guard and being very flirtatious with me. While in a room filled with friends, her casual holding soon turned into kissing. Since we were in a room full of people, I set up a lunch date with her. Some time was able to elapse in the dream where I was able to feel some excitement and had an entirely different perspective on life (you know the "buzz" feeling when you're in love) . People were teasing me in a good way on how lucky I was to have a date with her. Right when things started to feel almost perfect, I woke up.

I looked at my clock and realized that it was 3am. I still had the "buzz" feeling from Achelle. After I got up and went to the restroom, I decided to try some WILD to re-enter the dream. After over 30 minutes of trying, I finally became lucid and found Achelle again. I wrapped my arms around her and wouldn't let go.

As I write this the morning after, it's somewhat bittersweet. I didn't become as fully lucid as I wanted to. I had to counter many of the dark moments with some good ol' spinning. On one occasion, I couldn't tell if I was awake or dreaming when I opened my eyes. Also, I'm doing some self-evaluation on what this re-occuring dream might mean since I'm a married man. It might mean that I'm longing for escape due to the constant worries of being a restricted parent. Who knows.

I love being able to re-enter a good dream...

Just a guess, no expert here. Your dream might be advising you to focus more on the pluses/blessings of your current life situation. Dreams sometimes have a back door way of telling us something.

Yup, there's (almost) nothing better than to re-enter a good dream.
