      Collided with a vampire

Here's a interesting lucid dream experience I had some years ago. In what was just a regular dream I was flying high over a large church that had a red tile roof. Well as I was looking down on the roof and not watching where I was going I collided in flight with what was in the dream a flying vampire. I was knocked out of my flight and sprialing down towards a crash landing on the edge of the roof and just in time realized this is a dream and became lucid and regained control of flying and gained altitude and went on my way. Then I woke up. In the weeks after I re-entered the dream with the help of a Senoi dream coach and took up the dream at the point I became lucid and this time followed the vampire to his home and met with him. We chatted and became friends. This has become one of my fondest lucid dreams.

Making friends with dream characters can be a really cool experience. Aside from all the stuff about knowing eachother perfectly, there's the fact that you have a companion for all of your lucid adventures. I'd love to make friends with a constant dream character, but first I've got to learn to lucid dream with some regularity.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.

I'll clarify this vampire Senoi expericence here. The Senoi experience of re-entering an original dream more in a visual meditation mind state is not exactly the same as having a dream. Someone smarter than me could maybe elaborate on this some. The vampire and myself parted as friends however he hasn't turned up again in a dream. He did give me a "gift" as often is the result of the Senoi experience. I'll get into my dream journals from back then to refresh that aspect for myself and post more later. Journals are long packed away and will get at them.
