Most vivid LD I've had recently.. AMAZING

To start off it was a DILD.

I've very new the LDing and the whole expierience, but somehow I had an awsome dream the other night.

It started off as if there was a camera skimming over this area of land in first person. What it was or who is was I wasn't sure. After that little bit was over I realized I had to have been dreaming. Right after that I saw 3 figures running under this view I was was looking through or seeing through.

It was set out in the country, there were many weeds and wheat with few trees in the view I still saw out of. And it panned to an old blue beat up house. When it stopped all 3 of these guys(the figures) ran into the house, and there I was sitting in a chair sleeping. They woke me up and said, "Come look at the pond, its amazing." So I got up and ran with them to this pond, which was about 20 ft by 20 ft. In it was a small boat in the very middle, it looked very old. But around the boat, were a ton of wierd looking snakes, they were short and fat some, and others were very long and skinny. And they all stopped swimming when I got there and started talking to me saying.. "Captain, you need to get on the ship, we're setting sail in a few minutes."

At this point, I'm like... YES!!!

So I walked out as far as I could go, and then swam to the boat and got in. When i got in the camera view came up again and it was about 50 ft above the boat in first person again, but this shot.. was no longer a pond. It was a gigantic pirate ship with huge black sails, cannons, a parrot and monkey, many men were on the ship too; and we were in the middle of a ocean. The water was not dark at all. As if it were the carribean or something. But I could see all the way to the bottom, which looked like it was many miles. I saw whales, squid, octopus and so much more.

The next view was from myself and I was looking out over the front of my ship and if I remember correctly someone yelled to me "Captain Mango" or something like that....

      and then I woke up.

So far that has been the most exciting dream for myself. It was very vivid, i felt the air on my face, and the splash of water from this ocean when I was traveling.

Again.. I'm very new to LDing, I've had maybe, 2-3 in the past 5-6 months. So this was defiantly a very awsome expierience.

Edit: I had also watched a combination of Pirates of the Carribean and Chronicles of Narnia that day/night. Hence the ship and talking animals.
I don't get where the country thing came from though, cause I'm in a large city.

Wow, sounds like a cool dream. Not everything in your dream has to be based around what you did that day, it could be completely random, or like me, it could be based around a fleeting thought you had that day.

Sometimes things you do right before you go to sleep influence your dreams. I think it mainly has to do with the fact that you have lingering thoughts about whatever you did before you snuggled into bed, and they stretch into your dreams.

Vividness is indeed very enjoyable in LDs. When it's hazy sometimes it just pisses me off. There are, of course, many ways to alter the clarity in one's dreams.

Maybe this vividness has given you a sample and you'll be able to call it on more easily?

      Fun dream.
