      Getting up from Sleep Paralysis

I had an earlier post about a technique to get a LD by just trying to get up and out of bed during sleep paralysis. Someone responded that the technique sounds very similar to WILD. While reading over the WILD tutorials though, I think the main diffference with this technique is in WILD you are trying to relax and focus on an LD you want to have, but in this technique you are ACTIVELY trying to get up and out of bed Physically.

With that said, I was wondering if anyone was ever successful in actually waking up fully and getting up and out of bed during sleep paralyis without going back to sleep. I find that when I think im actually up, it's actually a LD. Weird..

I've gone into lucid dreams from sleep paralysis a couple of times, once by trying to get up, but those times were when I felt myself already falling back to sleep. Usually when SP happens to me (which is fairly rare), it's when I've otherwise completely woken up, so if I wait a minute for it to wear off, I remain awake and can get up as usual.
