      The First WILD!

Last night I decided to really try to go WILD, so I printed off all the WILD tutorials, and spend a good time reading them all. This was what I consider to be my first true WILD attempt; all the others had been a bit haphazard. I tried to do it without any sleep before hand, and I failed.
I woke up just a few hours ago, tried again, and this time it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For my first attempt I had a small dream where I was in school. I woke up, but fell asleep again, continuing the dream where I left off. All the time in the dream I was fully conscious, but I thought that I was imagining the dream. I started to run and fly about, at which point I saw a sandy beach, and ran really fast on sand. I jumped up in the air, landed on the sand and said 'Ah! Lucidity!’ At the half way point I was really starting to think that I had done it, but it was only till the very end did I realise that the dream was in fact a dream and not my imagination.

The second I said the word lucidity I started to hear everything going on in the real world, and I awoke promptly.

Thanks everyone who posted in the 'Heart and Breathing Rate!' thread- as I'm past that problem now

Does anyone think it helps if you are holding an object in real life when doing a WILD? I was holding a stone in my hand when I when I did the WILD, and was wondering if it could have made it easier somehow.

Mine wasn't too vivid either. I didn't teally notice the transition phase, I kind of just went from a day dream into a lucid dream. I had no vibrations or wierd feelings, or HI.
