      DC's As Other Dreamers?

This is just my theory,i'm not sure if this has been posted or not before so sorry if it allready has.

A few weeks ago (april 5 my b-day!) i had a lucid dream to end off the perfect night, now, this post isn't about my LD,it's about the DC's inside of it...

We were in a feild,a large one,it seemed to stretch out for miles on end,i looked down from where i was flying and saw DC's with dream control, just like me,i flew down and realized that we were playing tag or another game, the DC's were my age, there were 2 other guys, and 2 other girls, one girl could stretch any body part,to any length, one male could run at super sonic speeds, the other two i don't know about.

Now,if you remember the two Dc's with the special powers (i'm sure you do )
i was wondering, could they be other dreamers? could any DC be any dreamer? could LDing be like a T.V? could you just enter others dreams that they are currently in? and share that dream?

What i'm saying is that i bieleve SOME DC's are actully other dreamers!

Just a theory, tell me what you think.

      Thanks <--- I love that

I think you're talking about shared dreaming. You'll find more on this topic in "Beyond Dreaming".

And no I don't think that is possible

No,thank you for replying,nd i'm not trying to be rude or start an internet battle here.

What i mean is that you could be lucid dreaming, see me flying around, and think i'm another DC,we could share the dream but only one of us remembers it.

Please keep replying, what do you think

      Thanks

Yes, if shared dreams are possible then it's also possible that one dreamer thinks the other one is only a DC or that the DCs from your dream were real people.

I had an LD where I gave some people my cell phone number. But they haven't called yet.

Many people are interested in shared dreaming, but results are few.

I know a very experienced LDer who's been trying with other LDers for over a year with no success.

Lucid crossroads (do a search) is set up to foster this experience, but results are not strong.

But there's no reason why you shouldn't explore it. They're your dreams.

      That's a great idea...

I think I'll befriend a DC and give him/her my house phone and see if someone calls.

If you ever meet another supposed DC LDer then try to exert dream control over them. If it does nothing then perhaps your're on to something. Then again if you expect them not to be under you're control then it won't work anyway.
      I haven't failed
I've just found seven thousand three hundred and eighteen ways that don't work.

Whether so called shared dreaming is or is not possible is hard to prove. As disproving it is like trying to disprove the existence of God, and proving it is only possible when both dreamers remember something like a password decided upon in a dream, but stories like that can be made up.

Basing your belief of shared dreaming on a dream you've had where other dream characters had superhuman powers probably isn't a good way of looking at it though. As it's just as easy for you(r mind) to let DCs have them as it is to let you have them. Indeed, it can be even easier, as most people would more easily be afraid of others' special powers than be confident in their own.
For example, I once had a LD where I decided to turn myself into an angel. When I was done, I liked the result, except for the wings, which were a bit small. A few seconds later a taller angel with bigger wings popped out in front of me :sweat2: (I did kill the other angel though ^.^ )

As for my personal opinion (if anyone cares >.> ). I guess I believe uh...
Well, I'd say since the dreamworld is a subjective reality, there probably can't be two people in one dream. It is technically possible for two people to experience the exact same dream at the exact same time (say by coincidence) though.
I guess I'll just believe in it because I like the idea, which is what I always do
      A dream
is a reality that others cannot see.
      Reality
is a dream you share with others.

I don't wanna say it's impossible, it's an amazing thought...
