After I had my first lucid dream a while ago, I had my second 20 days later, and my third about 20 days after the second. *After the third, however, I've been having a lot of dreams that are sort of lucid, but barely. *For instance, the other night I had a dream where I walked into my room and found that a girl I had gone out with earlier that night (in real life) had left me a love note on my desk. *Somehow, I SORT of knew that I was dreaming - since I knew I was dreaming, I decided that I'd write down the letter in the dream on another piece of paper so I could look at it later (not realizing that the paper I was copying it to was also part of the dream.) *When I read the note, I noticed that when I concentrated on the sentences, a lot of words repeated ("how" was written three times in a row sometimes, etc), but I accepted it because I knew it was just a dream and my mind couldn't display it right. *Either way, I managed to write it down, and although the paper I wrote it on obviously wasn't there when I woke up, I still remembered what the letter said.
My question is, is it normal to have a lot of these low-level lucidity dreams after a while, and is it good? *I haven't had a dream that was as lucid as my first or second in a while - is it necessarily a good trend that I'm having a lot of far lower level lucidity dreams lately?
this same thing happened to me, I began to learn more about the dreamworld and such and almost all my dreams are (and were) half lucid, that is, my dream ego new I was dreaming, I didn't actually gain consciousness... its like the dream plot is always effected by my knowledge of LDing, I don't fear anything in dreams (0 nightmares for a long time now) and also I usually fly places in my dreams because I tell myself "yeah im just dreaming anythings possible" but the consciousness isn't there... I'm sure you know what I'm talking about though.
so yeah, its perfectly normal, no worries
