      2nd WILD, terrifying!

Well good thing I decided to take a break for awhile instead of quiting wilds because I had another one today. I normall try after 6-7 hours of sleep but today I tried after 4(though I felt very awake). I started seeing water so I focused in on it, and it started becomming more clear, untill I fell in then I was at some public pool. I tried yelling focus and for it to become more clear, just to try, it did a little but it was pretty good to start with. There was a ton of people there, and I talked to some for awhile, untill I decided to leave. I knew where I wanted to go so I started walking over there, then something scary happened.

As I was walking this guy came running at me. Some reason he really scared me. I forget what he said when he got to me but I think he was yelling it. So I focus on him to try and make him go away but he didn't, and I told him to leave me alone but he wouldn't. So I yelled at him "Delete!" and he kind of half faded but was still kind of there and I could see him, so I really started to freak out. So then I yell "Perma delete!"(I think I play games to much heh). At that point he was gone, but my heart was beating really fast. I wouldn't say I was 100% lucid but maybe like 80% and I knew he couldn't do anything but there was just something about him that scared me, and not being able to get rid of him made it worse.

I didn't wake up even though that happened which was good but because of him I couldn't find where I was going. I ended up walking into some huge store(might of been a mall) and I don't know why but there was a guard there and he asked me for ID. I didn't have any though and so I turned around, and woke up as I walked back out.

One other thing I just noticed, I am not sure if I fell asleep or something before it happened, or maybe I just layed there awake for a really long time, but from when I started untill dream was over was like 3-4 hours. Though the dream only seemed to last a few minutes at the most.

When you wild do you come out of it still awake - or kind of fall asleep in it?
The boredoms are like a moon on a lake. Only there is no moon and no lake. Only boredoms. So do not talk as if there is an actual thing called BOREDOMS NATURE

I think I kind of fall asleep. I think its the same is for most my dreams. I don't normally remeber how they end, normally just fades out at some point. I think its because of that reason.

alric, that person was most likely an agressive scout. when you do lucid dreaming you eventually run in scouts from other worlds. I know it sounds a bit far-fetched, but think about it, if we lucid dream, other conscious beings do the same kind of journeys. sometimes they get inserted into your dreams. I've found that usually they are behind alot of the people you run into while lucid dreaming. consequently I avoid staring at people or even talking to them. I would recommend sticking to objects and glance briefly at items in your dream, including people.

btw, I have had alot of similar situations like yours, so it is not just you or it is not uncommon. the yelling 'delete' and such *may* work but in reality it may just cause you to change dreams. if a foreign energy is inserted in your dreams and you've engaged it by staring at it or talking to it, it's most likely just to charge at you. you're energy is strange to them and vice versa.

my recommendation, tread lightly but continue. there is a point at which it is good to engage those types of scouts, but only the right kinds of ones...

Intent, I'm with you. I think our dreams are more then just that, that they perhaps are on a different plane. When I can LD better, I'm going to learn lots of control and fighting so I can kick the shit out of anything that I can't make disappear.

To be truthful I was thinking of something like that because I normally talk to dream people all the time and never been scared of any like that. Even in like normal dreams they can be shooting at me and stuff I don't feel like that.

I am not sure because I forget most of what I said to him, but I think he may have started talking to me first. He ran over to me but I stopped to talk to him. He didn't seem to do anything bad except maybe yell at me.

I wish I remeber what we said. If its true I hope I wasn't the agressive one who kicked him out of the dream first because he scared me.

Dont freak people out!!! Dreams = constructs of your mind.

And when you can controll it, its awesome and fun. Untill you lose your logic part of yourself again and everything gets all silly.

I agree with that too. People say they can share dreams though, and some people believe in stuff like intent says. I am not scared of that though, and I plan on staring or talking to anyone I feel like while I am in my dream. Because if they are some weird thing or a made up person from my unconscious mind doesn't matter. I still say its my dream so not going to let anything boss me around.

I just hope that if it is true, I don't blow up any nice people.

CT, vast majority of dreams are indeed constructs of your mind. but, dreams are just your mind perceiving energy. in most cases it is just your own minds energy activating and constructing a dreamstate. but that perceptual system can also be used to construct energy in different worlds and alternate realities...

what i mean about scouts is this... imagine your mind is pure energy right? everything is energy. when you do lucid dreaming your energy body gives off a specific 'flash' which is like a beacon that goes out into the universe. energies outside of yourself sometimes pickup on that beacon and scout to see what is going on. This for some reason is rare, and most of the time hidden to the person doing the lucid dream. they show up as people or even as really really bizarre objects in the lucid dream. You can identify those scouts by pointing at them and shouting "i want to see energy" and they will change from the dreamstate illusive form into a blob of pure energy. Scouts of the right energetic synergy with us can actually be followed to their world.

it's nothing to freak out about, it's just the reality of the universe, we are not alone. the more you do lucid dreaming the more you will explore beyond your traditional "mind created" lucid dreams out into the universe beyond...

      EDIT:
Alric, I totally agree with you, do whatever works and above all relax and remove any fear from your life. I strongly encourage anyone who does lucid dreaming to go into it without any fear at all. If you want to make people or items in your dream go away, definitely go for it. i've done it before in many lucid dreams.

have you ever had the experience where you are fighting some tough guy in your dream and nothing works against them? I had this lucid dream once where I was battling vampires, at first they were easy kills then they kept getting progressively tougher. Finally at the end I learned I could just yell "die!" and they would vaporize. but the weird part was they just kept coming back until I finally woke up. It wasn't a nightmare, it was just a long continuous battle. in retrospect I really wonder *what* was attacking me over and over...

Well I only have had a few lucid dreams, never fought in any of them. As for normal dreams I don't think theres ever been anything that was that hard. I have lost fights before, though I don't think they have ever killed me.

Can you fight these scouts or is it just better to run from them? I want to fight them, but if I can't beat them what is the point?

I am going to keep an eye for them...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Intent, this is from carlos castaneda's book "The art of dreaming", right?
Basically I belive it. I wanted to see energy for a long time, but failed to remember to do it when I was lucid. I'll try doing it next time...

Btw, your avatar is like an energy egg with "assembly point" and waves of energy floating through it?

You shouldnt battle them, all you have to do is point your little finger on them and voice your intent to "see" their true form. If person/object turns into a blob of energy, you can talk to it. As far as I remember, yellow and blue scouts are good, red are bad.
Carlos Castaneda used them to travel to another reality...
      Eventually I will try it.

I think I may have infact fought one before. I was in a forest, being chased by police, when I saw a guy in military camoflauge standing under a dirt embankment. I knew as soon as I saw him he wanted to kill me. I was above him, and when he walked under me I jumped at him with an army knife. Even though I stabbed him, he managed to block it so it wasn't a lethal kill. We struggled on the ground for a long time, before I finally managed to drive my knife into his chest. He still didn't die, so I picked up his knife and backhand threw it into his neck. Then he died. He was different from the other dream characters... they were all easy to kill, this one put up quite a struggle and I had to strain to beat him.

This is really amazing....Its hard to believe how vast the dream world is, and how many element there are in dreams....

I am going to be on the lookout for all these things...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow

Truthbearer, you can sure try to fight the scouts if you want to, but its like shadow boxing with air. I've had long battles with people/monsters/vampires in my lucid dreams. i can make them disappear or they run away, or whatever. who knows what is actually happening though. important thing is to feel empowered. the hostile scouts are not "evil things" they are just very very different energetically to us...

Ev, yeah that is from castaneda, but I've verified all of it for real. I've isolated scouts in my lucid dreams, pointed at them and they turn into a blob of energy. When I do it to people scouts in my dream they "fizzle" and are super-hyper looking energy fields that are hostile. they charge at me, engulf me... i either spin and switch dreams or simply wake up. those kind are quite different than our energy. from the art of dreaming, basically there are 'inorganic beings' than live on earth, but in a different energy level that our reality. they are beings like us but don't live inside an organism. they just exist on their own, and they live alot longer than us. so basically when you dream the inorganic scouts are attracted to our dreamspace (cause very few people actually lucid dream) and i've isolated some scouts in my lucid dreams. i shout 'i want to follow you' and they take me thru this vortex (exactly like the movie contact) into this other world. to say the least the experience is totally frickin amazing.

even now I still try to constantly identify those scouts in my lucid dreams. simple form is see my hands, point at 4 items in the lucid dream, then back to the first item and point at all 4 items again. then I change dreams by either lying down inside the lucid dream and going to sleep or point at something and staring and I will open a vortex and change dreams. then I look at items in the dream again. i do it all to eventually come across an inorganic being scout. they usually pop up in really bizarre items in the dream.

you are right about the pointing at the scout and shouting 'i want to see energy' they will turn into pure energy. different scouts have different colors. scouts behind people are generally energy scouts from far far away, so they can be a bit hostile. the scouts from the earth generally are friendlier and more approachable.

about my avatar, it's a painting I did awhile ago, I just re-sized it. It represents a human beings "energy body" with an "assemblage point" and lines of energy flowing through it. To explain, the assemblage point is a point in our energy body where we "assemble" the world and make it into objects. when we dream at night, our assemblage point moves and we assemble different lines of energy in the universe, thus perceiving different things. By doing lucid dreaming you are actually excercising the ability to control the movement of your assemblage point, thus you can actually shift your perception.

Lucid dreaming opens up an incredible universe without limits and without ends. It is so awesome to see so many people so interested in it. really really glad to find this website.
