Thread: 3 LD's in a row but only 5 second dream

What is the deal. I used to have long LD's then have not had any for a while untill this week. I have had 3 in a row but they are short.

More or less the dream starts and I am watching my self. As I watch my self I see my self say, "I am Lucid" and am put into my body and the LD begins. The first time I got way to excited and tried to get all crazy with the lady in the dream, woke up.... damn it. Second dream same thing happens, I watch my self for a second then I am in control of the LD, this time I had it planned I would stay calm, did not work snapped out of it too fast. 3rd LD was the best of them. This time the dream started off and I was my self. I was in my car with my girl. Not driving, just sitting there. Looking at the stearing wheel I say, "I'm Lucid". I had a feeling of calmness and that I was going to keep it under control and experiment with different things in the dream, like walking around, talking to people..... I look at my girl, tell her I am lucid. Then get annoyed by my radio playing in the car, it is too loud. I turn the nob off and the music is still loud. While in the dream I think back how I read on here that you can do things with your mind. I said in my mind, {turn off}, the radio stopped instantly and I started to smile being pleased with the result and then woke up.

Any ideas?
