I wanted to stop a car with my bare hands. Was in a sort of funny mood.
Anyhow, I became lucid in the middle of a conversation (somehow, conversations turn me lucid 88% of the time), remembered the "getting hit by car" wish.
First, I cranked up the realism to the maximum by examining details, then falling through the floor into darkness upside down. It worked unusually well that night, because when I stopped falling and ended up on a street, I wasn't even sure it was a dream, everything was so realistic. I could smell the fumes of the car and feel the hot, stale air.
Soon enough, I saw a small white car going towards me at what must have been 200 km/hour. I stood on the road. Instead of stopping, the car accelerated to the maximum when I did that. I stood in front of it, and told myself I had unmeasurable strenth.
Unfortunately, thanks to the realism, I wasn't sure of myself, and it didn't work. I probably flew twenty feet, and crashed into a window of a nearby house, falling onto the floor riddled with broken wood. Thanks to the realism, I could feel my left foot torn off, while my right was broken in probably six places at once. I couldn't breath (which made me panic), and I could feel blood coming out of my nose, ears and mouth.
I blacked out twice, feeling dull, but very intense flashes of real pain in my head (and it felt damn real). Twice I pictured myself in perfect health with all body parts intact, but it had absolutely no effect, and the pain got actually worse.
Finally, I could muster myself and woke up by trying to feel my real hand (as opposed to my dream hand).
Once I woke up, I felt perfectly fine, but I was sweating like hell.
The moral is: Kids, don't try this without being certain you are a very experienced lucid dreamer, and can control every aspect of the dream.
