Thread: My Little Bit of Lucidity

Well This morning after a good night sleep I got up for work, got ready and made it all the way there, clocked in and then realized that I did not have to be at work until later this afternoon! So like any sleep loving, warm blooded mammal I came home and went back to sleep.

My dreams were really crazy! I realized I was dreaming twice and tried to become lucid! I tried to visualize the room from my first LD, but no luck and I was sucked into another dream. The second time I realized I was dreaming I couldn't do anything and the dream soon took over (dreaming about my dog chewing up my yard ). I had a false awakening too. I dreamt I woke up got out of bed... walked in the bathroom and immediately walked out. I went to get something and realized I was dreaming. I didn't try to wake up and I don't think I was totally lucid but maybe a little because I remember thinking 'I'm not really awake". So I just went to lie down again and another dream took over!

Very frustrating I wish I had more control of my false awakening! I was searching through my cupboard trying to find something when I realized I was not awake... Ack I could have taken a morning fly through the sky instead of just a long nap!

Oh and I remember dreaming very vividly of a black screen and loud music. Now I don't remember what the songs were but for some reason I think it was "Lionel Richie"... haha I have not heard his music in years! And the whole time I was thinking... I gotta tell my people on DV!

Also weird how I also only remember my semi-Lucid dreams from this morning not the regular ones!

Hehe It was probably a lot weirder (if that is a word) for me than it is for you reading it!

haha awsome. the morning ones are always easier to remember (for me at least).

I'm not sure if you know it or not, but you used a very good method for incubating lucid dreaming. You got a good nights rest, then you awoke for a couple of hours. then when back to sleep. that is a vary good technique.
If anything you should be excited not frustrated. It takes a lot of work to become lucid on a cinsistant basis. You made a lot of progress in one night!
