      My First LD.

      hi everyone,

i just found this site a few weeks ago and thought i'd share my experiences. this was technically not my first LD, as i've had them a few times before. i always seem to have LDs when i wake up early and get a glass of water / go to the toilet and wait 15-20 mins before i go back to sleep.

i did it this morning, and today was my first LD since i found this site and started actively trying to have them. I realised that i was dreaming when i noticed that things in my dream (ie. the layout of my house) was not as it should be. I repeatedly said to myself out loud, "I'm dreaming".

I walked around my house for a while then went outside. I though to myself, if i'm dreaming, i'll be able to change the colour of the sky. I made it change from blue to a green colour which looked pretty cool. Then i saw some random guy on the footpath and i thought, seeing as it's a dream, i'll punch him in the head and get away with it haha. So i hit him and remember the vivid feeling of pain in my hand just like hitting someone for real (he was KTFO'd btw). I then went around doing jumps and flips for a while. Eventually i felt the dream fading and like i was waking up.

I then woke up but not in my bedroom (i wasn't actually awake yet). i went to my computer and tried to type something, but when i typed the words didn't match up with the letters i was typing, and i again realised that i was dreaming. This time i tried to get this girl i want to appear in my room. after trying this for a while i succeeded and then got down to business. unfortunately as things were coming to a climax i had another false awakening.

this repeated itself a bucnh of times, i had about 4-5 false awakenings and had to convince myself i was dreaming again until i was lucid. eveutnally i woke up for real, and had to convince myself that i wasn't dreaming again

usually when i realise that i'm dreaming, i tend to wake up immediately. but this time i managed an extended period of lucidity.
