Was this a LD?

A while ago before I even knew what an LD was, I had a dream that I was with my friend and we were standing around and I noticed that the sky was white instead of blue and everyone looked a little weird. I asked him if it was a dream and he said "Neh..." I said "Wait a second it has to be" I got excited and jumped up into the air. Sadly I woke up just at the moment. Was this my first LD?

Well, if you knew that you were dreaming, that's considered an LD, so yes. I'm no lucid expert by any means, so I may be wrong about this assumption.

Even if you were aware you were dreaming for only a split second, it's still considered becoming lucid. A lot of people have trouble with maintaining lucidity, but it sounds like you had some control, which is definitely a start!
