The awesome lucid dream I had last night

I dreamed I woke up in my bed. I guess you could call that a "false awakening". Anyhow, when I went to the door to leave my room, I noticed that everything seemed really high up... and then I realized that I was only about three feet tall! (anybody care to interpret that?) At first I dismissed it as not being to weird, but then I realized that, although it seemed rather unlikely, I might be dreaming.

To test, I decided to fly up through the ceiling. It worked.

And right then, I had another false awakening. This time I decided that everything around me was obviously "too real" and that I must be awake for real. Not so...

Okay, I was exaggerating a little when I called the dream "awesome". It was sort of an interesting experience though, although I'm beginning to get the feeling that I'm putting a lot more into this than I'm getting out of it.

With other words, you think the time and effort you put into lucid dreaming sint really worth it?

I have done better than this, honest...

I gave up on lucid dreaming for a while after chasing after it obsessively for a couple months and deciding that the RCs weren't really making that much of a difference. I did have some results, but they didn't seem very correlated with my efforts. I decided to get back on the wagon a while back, although I'm not being nearly as hardcore about it as I was before. In fact, I started posting on this board because I thought it might keep lucidity on my mind and help out.

That little dream represents my first results since then - the last time I was lucid was back in September, and the experience I had wasn't pleasant at all. I guess I could take that dream as kind of a "you're on the right" track sign, and I admit that it is encouraging, but also a little disappointing. I am back back to remembering my dreams most of the time though, although most of them haven't been very interesting.
