      A strange experience...

I just had a memory of an LD come back from nowhere! I had this dream a couple of months ago...

It starts off (or as close to the beginning as I can remember) I get out of bed, really slowly, and I am fully dressed in pure white clothing (Jeans, t-shirt, socks) and I move towards the door to open it. There is a portable TV on a stand on wheels in front of it (I put this in front of my door because my door doesn't shut fully and it keeps the cats out of my room on a night) but I am outside the door before I touch the stand to move it. Then I am in the waiting room of a doctors surgery. At this point, I still wasn't fully aware it was a dream. Then I get called in and I lie down on the bed/chair thingy... a bit like a dentists chair. Then, all of a sudden, two women wearing white suits and surgical masks try and drug me, I try to escape but the walls close in. Still, oddly enough, I knew what was happening was impossible, but no awareness of a dream. Then I can see my body, lying on the chair, spinning in the centre of my vision. That was the moment I realised it was a dream, and I watched in obscene fasination as the two women preform brain surgery on me, sticth me back up, and then I am back in my body, with a vivid point of pressure at the back of my skull. All I can see is red. At that point I freaked out (knowning it was a dream still) and forced myself awake by tightly shutting my eyes and opening then as wide as I can as fast and forceful as I can. The feeling is somewhat like opening your eyes twice without closing them in between. I looked at the clock, it was 5.20am, I did a really quick reality check by getting up and running to the toilet (the closest mirror to me in the house is on the back wall of the bog ) and staring at my face and checking for any differences of my face or the space around it as I went to the toilet. I decided sleep was kinda, y'know, not fun for now and sat at the computer.

Seriously. That deam creeped me out. A lot.
I have actually found myself at the end of a game level -after- I have fallen asleep while playing.

      Eh
That does seem a bit strange
Someone performing surgery on you in a dream :s
Hm... maybe next time you should try to change the scene/characters
and make it a little more enjoyable

Not all LDs will be that scary, you could just have had stress at the time which could have caused such anxiety in a dream. I often find that i'm most lucid during anxiety prevoking dreams. What you also have to realise is that in LDs you have the ability, if you truely put your mind to it, to change any situation you don't like, and face and defeat any undesirable situation, one of the perks of LDing :

      LD's since joining = 33
