Phone calls

Just curious if anyone has picked up the phone and called themself in a L.D.? Or even tried calling a friend. Here's a tip: Don't try dialing the numbers just pick up the phone ask the operator to dial the number for you. If you do this come back here and post a lil' bit about what happened.

Heh, interesting. I've never had this experience but I'm pretty sure OpheliaBlue has - I think she kept getting the wrong person on the line and I can't remember if she ended up asking for the operator or not.

Joth, I love that clock. The closest thing that I've ever come to a LD was waking up and looking at the digital clock. I saw a similar thing as that image and just shrugged it off. Later I found that it's common to have digital displays distorted in dreams.

I am so trying that. I'd love to have a little convo with myself or anyone else over the phone in a LD.

I've chatted to people via IM in dreams. Perhaps I'll also attempt a LD chat and see how that works out.

Phones hate me in dreams! I can never dial the right numbers, get a signal, or get the right person on the line. Even 911 gets screwed up! I'm definitely going to have to try asking for the operator next time. But the phone thing is such a good dreamsign for me that I don't know if I want to change it...

I'm intrigued, must try this. I might try to call someone in the universe. Curious to what they might say, heheeheh!

very interesting
actually almost every ld I find a phone and call someone i know
try this pick up the phone but don't think about someone you want to call and just say hello

it happened to me and someone answered

In my lucid state I have tried telling others in my dreams my phone number, name and address so if we are having a mutual dream that we would have proof when we wake up.

I am still waiting for a call and visit :-)
