Do you treat your dream characters like people?

I'm talking about when you're lucid. I've noticed that I've started treating some random people in lucids as people and sometimes I make great friends! If you really think about it they have their own thoughts and choices. They're no different that you or me. And most of the time if you told them they were fake they wouldn't believe you. (maybe they're not?) So what about you guys? Do you treat people in your lucids like people?

Most of the time. If they get in the way while I'm trying to do something though, I just get rid of them. When I was younger though, I'd form a connection or bond with dream characters and wake up feeling kind of depressed if one of them was hurt or killed in a dream.

In the past, I have not. However, my DCs have started getting very angry at me for doing that and dissenting. I'm working on treating them the same as I treat others. Interestingly enough, my dreams have been a bit more entertaining as of late.

Same here, when I meet somebody and we become good friends in the lucid it kinda makes it better.
