      My first Lucid (short) Dream!!!

Okay, I just had my first lucid!

I laid down, preparing to try to astral project. Instead, I fell into a Lucid Dream, (after what felt like hours). I was sitting on my parents bed in their room. I was about to just go somewhere, then I remembered I was dreaming. I did the nose RC and I could breath through my nose. I went forward a couple of steps then looked at my hands. They were transparent except for my fingertips. Then I woke up. The dream only lasted a few seconds. Before now I was sorta a skeptic, but now I'm a total believer! This was a W.I.L.D. I did not feel any vibrations or sleep paralysis. I counted to at least 500 in my head, then started seeing hypnogogic images, one of them being a manilla folder with writing on it. It only appeared for a few seconds each time it appeared. In the dream I felt very drowsy and my vision was blurry. It was still an amazing feeling, though, to know I was dreaming. I am very happy with my accomplishment of even becoming lucid. If you could, please give tips on how to prolong the dreams. Thanks for reading!

      Congratulations!
Well, my mind is sort of chaotic during my LDs still, but being positive seems to be a winner for my dreams.
Try not to think too much, especially not negative thoughts.
Due to distractions i have not tried any of the other techniques, like spinning, rubbing hands or verbal commands.
Hopefully i'll find time for them... sometime.
