      3 levels of control

I'm new here, just found this place yesterday. anyways, i've been LD'ing for about 5 years now. I started much as anyone else, with short 1-2 second blurps. i can now control them enough to be lucid all night, allthough i rarely do as i wake up more tired. last night i read about seeing energy so i tried that a couple times. very cool results. then i did something else, i want to share it and see if anyone else has done something like this.

i was in a store, i walked up to an attendent and said "i want to see who's in control". she just gave me a strange look. i figured, that didn't work. but then i turned around. i looked into the street, everyone was still there but there was something new. there were characters standing behind all the people. holding them gently. i walked outside, this is when i realized that the characters all looked the exact same.
khaki pants, white shirts with thin blue stripes, suspenders and ties.
i grabbed one by the shoulder and said 'i want to talk to you'
he glanced out of the corner of his eye but kept walking. i repeated.
he hung his head down slightly, gave the woman a slight push and turned to me.
      he said 'okay'.
      me: 'whos in control here?'
him: 'you are...well, you're in control of what you want. but the other things that you dont want to waste time on, you place us in control of'

      me: 'so i control you?'
him: 'you give control to me, i'm controlled by another'
me: 'so there are three of us?'
      him: 'yes'
      me: 'me, you, and another?'
      him: 'yes'
me: 'i want to see him'
      him: 'you can't. nobody can.'
me: 'i want to see him'
him: 'i'll take you as close as i can'

colors, brilliant bright colors. power. its hard to describe what i saw, and felt. it didn't last very long either. when we came back, which was just as interesting as what happened, he said 'now you've seen'.
he seemed somewhat annoyed by me, like he had other things to do and didn't want me to constantly pester him.

anybody have anything like this before?

that sounds absolutly amazing! Now this is the kinda stuff I got into lucid dreaming for. It actually sounds a bit like the book Insomnia by Stephen King, weirdness.

Thats cool. I never experienced nothing like that but i do recall a time where i was standing at a counter at like sears or some department store and i told the dude i didnt have to pay him because he was just a dream character. He looked at me like i was crazy and went about his business i walked off and didnt pay for something i had. No one stopped me or anything. Whenever i tell people in dreams that they are not real or their part of my dream they never agree with me. Im going to definately ask some one whos in control asap. sounds like a good question.

I would love to think that the three entities would be the conscious, sub-conscious and the unconscious....

I am a psych major, and it would really prove a lot of the thoughts I have been having about applying Freud's dream theories to lucid dreams...very interesting stuff
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

      thats an interesting idea.
i'll delve further into it, but i have to say of all the lucid experiences i've had this one was definitely the most strange, and somewhat scary. when i woke up something felt a bit off. still, its too interesting to leave alone.
my control over my dreams seems quite good, i've been bringing in outside things into my dream environments lately. sounds mostly. i'll see what the different levels think of outside (real) objects.

      It is....

Things might get scary and all, but they sure as hell are interesting in the dream world. Talking to dream people seems pretty fun, because you never know what they are going to tell you.

P.S. You should post in the Newbie zone, let people know that you exist, and tell us a bit about yourself and your ld experience...

This is a classic example of Federik Van Eeden's work in explaining how you conscious is seperated into 3 distinct personalities while you are sleep. But this is the first that I've heard of all personalities occupying the same space. This is most amazing I say.

      Talking to dream guys

I remember once I asked a dream guy how it felt to be just an extra in my dream he kinda shrugged and said "Oh it's not so bad"
Ever had that feeling when your not sure if your awake or still dreaming?

Wow, nice theory there kiddo...... (I miss posting on this website as I don't get to log on very often anymore due to demands in my life).

I would think that the third one, the one they said they can't show, would be GOD or the Universe or whatever it is you believe in (the light where we all start from, etc). We will never be able to see it until we die and become souls forever. This is my theory for now.

I haven't been lucid since my first WILD a long long time ago. Oooh how much I miss it

      Blissful
