      Lucid sex and privacy?

      So just wondering..

-According to LaBerge, your brain and body react the same when you're dreaming and when you're awake - the only exception being you're paralyzed from moving.

-I've also read that if you hold your breath, or get out of breath in a dream, your sleeping body does the same.

Does that mean if you're having sex in a dream, anyone sleeping near you would hear you breathing all heavy like you were in having sex in the waking world? Could they see you having an orgasm?

Just wondering. .. (I kind of tend to be pretty noisy in bed... So perhaps I should be careful where/when I'm having dreamsex!)

I've never personally heard anyone getting freaky in bed, and I've tried once to breathe harder during SP. No one noticed, and there were 2 other people in the room. When I orgasm, I never actually do in reality. However, I have heard of people being affected in reality as they are in dreams.

The breathing can be slower or faster, but not exsactly as it is in a dream. You can experience suffocation or rapid breathing (say from sports), but your body breathing will always be in an acceptable relaxed range. I very much doubt that it would be possible to see what you experience in a dream only from those few bodily symptoms that are visible from the waking st ate. However, as a male, it's possible to ejaculate from REM.
