Ok this morning was my first lucid with pretty much any sort of control. Not much, but it had some. Yes, that means my 17 other lucid dreams were pretty much nothing. THIS WAS SOMETHING. Kinda of.

Ok so yesterday, Ev told me in order to control my dreams I needed to have willpower, I needed to intend for whatever I was doing to happen, and I needed to visualize it. So, after waking up at 8 AM, I managed to fall asleep at 9:45 AM, after nearly giving up trying to. What resulted was this dream:

I had been waiting to fall asleep so long, that as soon as I was in this dream, I said to myself "Finally I'm asleep.... Oh yeah I'm lucid too hehe." I was on some wierd kind of beach, just sand. There was a river and another patch of land across from it and it had trees. These was really bumpy land bridge to get from one patch to another. I ran across the bridge like a barbarian, with my arms moving back and forth. At this point the dream was so unstable I managed to feel my own real life arms move at the same time, but I tried to ignore it for fear I would wake up. Eventually, I got across and ended up in the field of the camp I was at for 3 and a half weeks (late June to late July). It was dark outside. Then it hit me that I was supposed to try flying for like the 5th lucid dream (all other attempts failed miserably). I did the 3 steps (willpower, intend, visualize) except my dream self forgot what intend was and actually used intent. Well, I stared at the stars and did that, and then I was flapping like a bird hovering 3 feet above the ground for half a second and then I fell down. Well, that didn't work out so well. So then, I tried to get the wing cap from Mario 64.
I used the same 3 steps, with intent instead of intend again, and then I felt around my head. I grabbed something and pulled it off my head. It was the wing camp WOOOHOOO!!!!!!! I tried to show my friends, even though they were DC's, but they weren't interested. Then, I tried doing a Mario 64 like triple jump, but I couldn't. I was able to jump kinda high. Eventually the dream turned to day, and some lady said "40 minutes left" which I thought meant that I had 40 minutes left in the dream. It didn't because shortly after I woke up. I looked at the clock and it said 10:02.

Well, I had little control, I couldn't fly, BUT I SUMMONED AN OJBECT YAYAYAYAYAY.

Next time I'm summoning a plane.

Nice one! Good thinking about the Mario cap, too - keep up the good work!

      Congratulations on the LD megabenman,
I just wanna say.. summoning a plane is cheating ! as cool as summoning is, i dont think thats the answer to your flying problem. Next time you want to fly try imagining a jet of light coming out from behind you propelling you forward like a rocket.. this should get you in the air initially and once your used to this you can begin to go advanced. Personally i fly by simply doing it, no thinking, i just jump and then begin flying like neo (arms by my side) because i find that most appealing. The answer to all my lucid control problems was to stop thinking about it, which i found caused doubt and difficulty, and simply do it.
I also find i can control gravity in a lucid dream.. your willpower's very strong, if i feel myself being pulled down when i first jump i can override gravity and simply feel myself moving up instead of down, once im 6ft+ in the air gravitys no longer an issue.
