Thread: Your longest false awakening (without knowing it)

I never had one, but post your longest false awakening here, with the descriptions of what you did, etc.

I don't know if you would consider this a false awakening. I was not trying to wake up. I woke up (or so I thought) sat up in bed and went to the bathroom which is on the other side of my house. Now what is weird about this is that during that whole time from my bed to the bathroom I was awake as could be. There was NOsign of dream activity whatsoever. Everything was absolutley par until I opoended the door and the president was standing there. BOOM holy crap! To suddenly realize your in a Lucid dream that ubruptly. That was cool. I was actually in a Lucid dream but did not know it.
SO - since I was not aware of my dreamstate, would that explain the clarity of the events prior to the bathroom. That leads me to conclude that you can become that clear minded in a Lucid dream when you are aware.

This is not a false awakening, but I believe it's in the same category.

In my recent LD, after attaining awareness after a reality check, everything just seemed so real. I then began to wonder if I wasn't in a dream, and was in real life instead.

So, as I woke up later, it was weird, because with the state of mind I had during the dream, it was like waking up from a waking state of mind. (which really was a dream, but I was aware and thought it was too real to be a dream) Apparently, LD's are more real-looking than waking life.

I think this is my longest (definetely my funniest)

I got up, saw I was late for work and paniced. I put my coat on and ran out the door and into my car. I knew something wasn't right when I got to an intersection where I turn right. There were too many trees and an odd gas station. I still didn't think I was dreaming. I then started to accelerate and felt myself slipping on my leather seats, like when I were a silk fabric of pants or a skirt. I looked and saw I was still in my PJ's! That was when I realized I was dreaming. I laughed but still didn't wake! I was relived I wasn't late for work. I pulled into the gas station, I saw my ex-boyfriend drive by in a tank, and my current Boyfriend pulled up with his nephew in an RV!

I woke up and all I could say was "What was that all about?!!"

had about 3 or 4 after I did a wild, it was terrible because in the false awakenings I woke up, though DARN my WILD failed, went back to sleep and did the methods for a WILD, thinking I wanted to have a lucid dream, visualising, etc. But nooo, not a lucid dream, another FALSE AWAKENING!!

darnit.

If it tricked me like that then it would definately be everytime I WILD but Im usually always expecting it from WILD's.

I had quite a lot of false awakenings, but they last like 30 seconds.

I guess longest one was about 2 minutes, but I realized it was a FA and pulled myself out...
