Paralysis Experience

Ok, So this is probably the 3rd time that I have aquired lucidity. I was aware that I was entering sleep paralysis , I aquired lucidity and I was in outer space, it was the most beautiful yet scariest and evil setting. I instantly tried to jump great heights but the excitement and fear got over me and I woke up. So the question is, do most lucid experience begin when you enter sleep paralysis, cause thats the only way I have done it. The previous times I attained lucidity was through a false awakening, I just knew that it was a dream, but then again I got excited ans woke.

A while back, most of my LD's were initiated after I realized I was stuck in SP. It was a good way to slip into a LD because in SP i was lingering inbetween wake and asleep. It was sort of like a like a fork in the road... you can choose to take the road to a LD or take the road to wake again. That's how it was in my case anyway.
