Ok so I had been reading the forums all day yesterday and went to bed early last night to try and go lucid again.

About 2 hours after falling asleep I had a dream, I can't remember where exactly I was or what I was doing but I almost instantly was aware that I was dreaming. At this point I tried staring at my hand looking for detail, which I read is a good way of bringing out the vividness. When I looked at my hand I was seriously shocked at how much detail I was looking at in the grooves in my fingertips and whatnot. I'm used to having very hazy dreams where levels of detail like that in my hand are completely nonexistant. I was staring at my hand for a good amount of time because it was so interesting. As soon as I turned my attention away from my hand I felt myself slipping out of the dream. I tried spinning like I had read, which worked to put me in a different enviornment, but I fell out of it soon after and woke up.

Later I had another dream where I almost immediately recognized I was in a dream and started looking at my hand again to try and make myself more aware as to what was going on. After becoming oriented with what was going on I wanted to try some control. I cant remember what exactly I tried to achieve at first, but I know I was unsuccesful. I then held my hand out and thought that I wanted a coke. I was surprised to see a coke appear in my hand following my thoughts. I took a sip and could have sworn I tasted actual coke. I think I woke up shortly after that. It is still a very weird sensation to have what seems to be acute senses in a dream, due to my dreams nomrally being very hazy and disconnected.

Thanks for those that have posted info and techniques that have aided me thus far.
