I live in New Zealand (and have never been out of the Pacific) but I had a very long LD, in which I found myself in a foreign looking enviroment and wandered upon a large barn. Some people arrived and activities started beginning, so I asked them what was going on. They told me there was a party in the barn that night, and that we were in some town in Canada. The dream lasted for several hours, which I spent partying with many people (who are quite different in manner to those in my native country) and I learnt a lot about these people and the area. The dream ended when I was opening a slip of paper containing an email which I got from one of the girls I met (after discussing that I was in a dream), who said I should email her when I wake up so we can see if she gets it. I got suddenly very excited contemplating the gravity of the possibility of her replying my email, and woke up suddenly.

Were all of those people merely Dream Characters? Or were their personalities based on the dream self of some other dreaming individual? It was definately the most vivid and realistic LD I have ever experienced. Any views, or similar experiences?

Well I think they were most probably just dream characters, they seem real but really are just part of your imagination.

However, there is also the other view that is possible: that they were other people just like you dreaming? If they seemed very real, they might have been. This has never been proven possible however, but I say that nothing can be said to be impossible if it hasn't been proven either.

Usually, it is just people created by your imagination. However, some days they seem so real and everything that you have to question whether they really are. It still could be just a very realistic world your mind has created, but I myself feel that it may be something more.

Well if they were lucid dreamers they may have access to this forum and post here!

On the other hand let us know if you email her and get a reply!

It would be an interesting experiment.

That email part is amazing. I think that the girl is a real person. Try and email her, if this works out. Then this may prove that whole dream sharing theory.

What are you saying Konsol? That the person was "13ish" for suggesting the possibility of proving a shared dream experience? Or was it because the original post specified that he awoke before opening the email? If you don't think that things like "Shared Dreams" and "Astral Projection" (very closely related I think- if not the same thing) are possible then it is you with the childish mind.

There was a post on the "Newbie" section from a guy who saved his son from a nasty entity in a dream as it burst through his wall. When he awoke he went into his sons room and asked if he had been dreaming- the child responded by pointing out the exact point in the wall and confirmed the rest as well.

I think it has already been proven, we just don't have it (the 'official' proof) and most wouldn't accept it if we did. It's just a matter of time until it's all blown wide open.

We Canadians sure know how to party! Now, for dream parties, we are the best hehehe.

Have you ever been in Canada? Do you remember any details on the way the people talked (expressions) or acted or the environment that only a local could confirm? Post them.
