FIRST WILD/LD!!!??

Okay, so I'm pretty sure I just had my first LD. I had to drive my gf to work this morning so I had to wake up early. When I came home I thought I might as well try to do a WILD, i've only tried to do it for real one other time. Layed there for a good 40mins or so and got sick of it so I opened my eyes did RC, awake of course, then got comfy again. Did this a couple more times in the next 10-15 mins...Well then I was layin there kinda asleep I guess cause I heard like a laser gun shoot (kinda like a toy lazer noise) thought it was odd and forgot about it..Well now I know what HP sounds are because next i heard a loud tv on and I thought why am I trying to WILD with the tv on and was thinking about turning it off and next thing I know i can kinda see i'm in my room( thought it was at least) but it was very bright and like warm with a reddish pinkish tone.. checked the clock next to me, and it was counting up, I was like hmm fucked up right, checked the other clock on the computer (dont have one in my room) and it was counting up; was like, "I'm Dreaming" wanted to get up more and go to the door, decided i might as well float, then was floating and thought about going to FL, and closed my eyes, and I started to kinda rotate while floating and everything was going dark, and thought I should look at my hands quick but I couldn't move them at all and then I was looking in my real room and I was awake for real. Now damn, if that was a LD then YES!! I take back everything I ever thought about how real can this really be and is it worth it. cause it fucken is!! all of that above was like maybe a min, more like 20secs..or less..

thank you squall....I still cant believe that it really happened. when i woke up from it I tried to make myself believe that it didn't happen cause how could it? I tried to say it was just a thought/a daydream.. but now i'm convinced...and very happy

welcome to the club! it is just so amazing how real it is... the next thing to do is actually getting good at prolonging the LD + enjoying the possibilies (my current goal)

I tried again and holy jesus it was crazy. I'll describe the feelings I went through since I just had them fresh in my mind. Yesterday I noticed before I went into my dream that I experienced some HP imagery but what was even more apparent to me was the sounds I was hearing, yesterday a toy laser gun and then a tv on loud, and today a couple random noises and then a cell phone type ring over and over, then I started to feel the numbness and paralysis while I heard a very loud humming, just like when a jet airplane is about to take off, and it builds up louder and louder and it starts to accelerate, thats what I heard right before I entered my 2nd wild, and it was insane, for me at least. first since i just heard the airplane noise i saw a picture of an airplane but it was like a drawn picture of own, and it started moving kinda like a flip book and dissapeared and then it was really dark and I was floating in some room, but I cant even describe this, i kinda started to spin but it was more the surroundings spinning around me, then i remembered to look at my hands and they were like liquid mettaly kinda with bars and black and white spots, i stared at them for a while and then was kinda walking in this room and gravity was fucked up, so I said something like "fix gravity!!" and it became a lot better, and then i was floating around a school, everything very hazy and dark, and i saw lots of kids, then i was floating but i was kinda like a projector, and was projecting the image of me sitting at a desk in grade school and it was kinda scary to me then was standing again and said like Increase lucidity and clarity, and it became brighter and clearer but it made me lose it all and wake up.... sorry that was soo long.....but i'm still sooo excited...

Not long at all!!!! Congrats, you seem to have found the method that works best for you!!!! Of course you more results would prove this completely, but so far so good!!! Also, WILDs are generally some of the most realistic LD's I have had, so you picked a great method... P.S. HP=Hewlett Packard????

oh sorry, no HP is for hypnagogic imagery and sounds....sorry I didn't want to spell it wrong, sorry for confusion....swcrew hewlett packard..jk Yeah I dont know if this will be the best for me but damn they were realistic and crazy, very very short, but i'm going to try again tomorrow and see if I can go 3/3. I really need to work on getting under control in them, its just so crazy though. I've yet to become lucid in a "normal" dream during the night..how do they differ? I would think it might be easier to stay in the dream because it would kinda already be "set up" as opposed to from consciousness to dreaming and starting from nowhere. I dunno just a thought.

The sarcatic way, of course In my experience it is easier to maintain WILDs, for you have more control over it. In DILD's it is easier to loose lucidity if you aren't aware enough...

see, i wasn't sure whether you were sarcastic or not....so hard to tell in typing...HI, HP whatever... Well I went for it again today although I was very tired when I woke up, but shit I did it again, 3 for 3. I dont think I went into this one lucid or not, it was a lot longer than the previous 2 but dont recall all of it. i'll say i'm pretty sure I got flying under control, read about the attractiong method of flying last night, so when i realized I was lucid looked up at the sky and tried to fly into space, well I zoomed up there pretty damn fast and I saw the sky change from our "blue sky" to outer space and shit, but then I think my dream changed a lot.. Also was able to think there was a gun in the back seat of a car and reached back there to grab it, found a shotgun, that was pretty cool except i think it wasn't really the right shape and I had to shoot these crazy dogs but it was too dark to see them and pretty sure they got me. I'll update y'all tomorrow to see if i can do it again.

well i know i still have a lot of work to do, once i'm lucid its a little to crazy for me. I didn't try today, I was way too tired this morning, but i'm definately going to tomorrow.

well tried it this morning, damn girlfriend opened the door (in real life) right at the point where I was like seconds from entering a lucid dream, and I could tell from the imagery i was having and my thought process that I would have my best wild yet...but as soon as i heard that door open, bam, back of my eyes again, and i'm awake...I was too pissed after that to think of anything else so I couldn't get back into it. what was weird this time though was that while my body was goin to sleep and entering the dream world I felt like i was kind of swaying my head back and forth, rocking my body to sleep, but my actuall body wasn't moving, I dont think. I found this soothing and felt it brought on the dreamscape in which i was about to get into before the incident... better luck tomorrow, she'll be at work!!
