My first lucid dream

Well, After a lot of work and a couple of pre-lucids.
It had to come sooner or later

Anyway i’ll tell you my story

Going to bed, I thought I would try to wild, I’d been trying for a few weeks, but no sucess. A while through, Sleep Paralysis was nowhere near.

I decided to stop trying for a bit and just have some normal dreams. For the first half of my dream it was really weird, there was this place with bricks around it, like a mini house thing. Its really hard to explain.

So a while after that I came to this youth centre type place. And my dad was playing the piano (Which i’ve never seen him do in real life). I thought this was quite strange. So I decided to put my fingers over my nostrils and try to breathe, I breathed through my nose and was like, "Great, Im dreaming. Now all I have to do is stay calm"

Everything I say now was when I was lucid

It was really weird when I knew I was dreaming, Theres like this strange feeling of you landing in that body thats really hard to explain to someone who hasnt done it before. Still in the centre, I had a little trouble trying to change the scene, All I could manage was two giant water slides somewhere along the wall and my brother was on one of them.

I saw Bart Simpson (Weird) trying to play the piano (Dreamsign? And yes, I can play the piano in real life) I decided to help him out, By sticking some forks into the keys he wouldn’t need to use and telling him to play the others. After that I saw the Sea Captain (Arrrr Another dream sign she be, Simpsons that is) His eyes were freaky, His pupils were getting smaller and bigger each pupil at a different time (One big while the other small),
And when they got big or small enough, they turned into this light blue snowflake shape and then changed size again.

My mom was watching his eyes with a confused look, I told her I was lucid dreaming and she said "Oh, Ok then" The thinking part of my brain wasn’t on

I tried to get a girl from my old school into my dream, but she came out faint, like a ghost. I tried bringing my mate into my dream, he came out faint too.I started fading out of my dream. I was going to shout Increase lucidity! Lucidity times a billion! or spinning but I didnt want to disturb my dad on the piano. I kinda thought that he was really playing it.

I hate my brain

Lucidity: 8/10, Kept doing reality checks But failed to realise my parents were Dream characters

Vividness: 4/10, Not too good, I think the only thing that was vivid was when I was rubbing the carpet, I saw the detail and it felt real

Control:
3/10, This wasnt good at all, I guess I was going with the flow instead of focusing on controlling it. And I couldn’t get people in my dream

Length: 5/10, Felt like it lasted around 15 minutes. Could have been shorter or longer in real life.

Overall: 5/10, A pretty good first lucid dream, But could have been better.
