Thread: Counting Dream!

When I was a child I used to have a recurrent dream where I was counting! I had the feeling that if I got above 10, before I woke up, something terrible would happen. Anyone else had that experience?

I don't think I've ever tried to count in my dreams, however I remember when I was younger I used to be afraid that I would get stuck in my dreamworld. So I used to always try and wake myself up.

That's cool, its probably quite a good way to stay Lucid!

I've never tried this, but I've always been interested in how dream time moves as proportional to "real" time. Someone on this site (sorry don't remember who) told me about dream research where the subjects would count off seconds during LDs, and the count would be compared to the amount of rem sleep they'd had. I think it roughly correlated, which is pretty interesting.

Lol never happened to me before but when I was younger I use to think there was always a monster under my bed ^_^
