Anyway, so I told myself last night that I would have a LD - DILD style Anyway, when it came abouts to it I was in this scene that only lasted about 10 or 15 seconds where I was at school on the upcoming Monday (I can pinpoint the exact day because of other dream signs, I had another 2 brief LD's lasting about 4 seconds where I was in French, English & Religious Studies which I all have on a Monday.) and talking to my friend about an email he sent me on Friday night (Furthermore, that would be the only time I could actually speak to him anyway.) He just said "Sorry, couldn't get back to you." That's it, all I remember and to be honest I didn't have any control over it and now I'm thinking I didn't know I was really dreaming even though I was there. Well, I suppose that's justified because I was only there for about 10 seconds lol. Didn't seem very real, and now when I think about it, it just felt like a dream...
Anyway, tell me what you think and whether it's a real LD or not. Thanks all

Hmm, I just read that over carefully, twice, and I still don't understand the part you think you were lucid in...

But an easy way to tell - did you know you were dreaming? If so, you were lucid. If not, then you weren't.

Yeah I don't really know what your going on about either, it sounds like you just had a normal dream to me .

I've had LD's that haven't felt real and had no control so it might have been a LD but I doubt it.

I'm not sure if this was LD. Did you ever know even a little that you were dreaming when you were talking to your friend in class? Even if you had a slight notion then at least it could be low level lucidity but still you were lucid in some way. But it almost seems like a normal dream.

I think it was an LD, as you say you had an LD, but I really can't tell. If you knew you were dreaming/thought am I Lucid for even a millisecond then you were Lucid. I would still put my money on you being Lucid, as even though you don't really remember, you generally don't remember being Lucid unless you have a Lucid. It has happened to me multiple times that I remember being Lucid, but remember nothing about the dream at all except that I got Lucid.

It seems that you havent understood what being Lucid means, atleast that's how it seems from reading this post.

A Lucid Dream is when: When you are aware of your state ( I'm in a dreamscape simulated by my mind, this is not reality )

Control is another figure. You don't always have control even though you know it's a dream, that's something you've gotta practice on. To gain control over your dreams and do whatever you like.
Lucid, my way of life.
