I was listening to a lucid dream induction mp3 trying to get to sleep, eyes closed, resting. After a while of imagining a dream scenario. still awake, I get bored and decide to pick up my laptop (on a table next to my bed) and IM someone some random message and sign off. But next I realize that I wasnt signed in to aim before i was going to sleep and realize that i just imagined it. This image began to fade, so I think of the im and my screen. In my mind I can see the laptop screen floating above me, so bright, so vivid. Must have been 5-8 inches above my face. Suddenly I realize that its really hard to move my body. I just see the screen above me, and I hear really loud noises. Sounded like every key on the piano, was being hit at the same time, at a consistent rate about 3 times a second. I thought I must be in a transition phase of some sort, so I just focus on the screen, and think about a dream scenario. At some point the screen floating above me starts to spiral away. I see if I can think of IMing someone again and the screen appears again. At some point I send another IM and at some point the screen shows some image, with blue and green colors, and fades away again. I must have had some sort of control over it because i remember trying to make it spiral at a slower rate the second time.
After a while I wonder what would be the best thing to do to try to start the dream. Earlier in the SP and HI I couldnt feel my tongue, but after the screen thing I can feel it. It felt like I was moving my jaw, biting, in sync with the loud noises. After a while I slowly try to start a dream, but I ended up waking up, haha. First thing I did once I got up was do a few reality checks and starting writing this.
The whole experience was pretty crazy and definately the farthest I've ever got to having a Wild. Closest thing to it was a time when I was sleeping and then half-woke up in the middle of the night, felt SP (but no noises or HI), and then went back to sleep.
