      i had a dream last night were i wasn't really aware i was dreaming but i was in control of my actions and what i said. is that considered a lucid dream? half lucid? it was really werid. it may just be because i was sick last night but it was really cool.

      although that must of been super cool, sorry dude in order to have an ld you have to know you were dreaming. well its not all bad right? you had to of been pretty aware in that dream if you could control your actions

      Yep, freefire's right - it's not considered a lucid dream unless you know you are dreaming.

      One of the biggest misconceptions is that you have to be lucid to have control in dreams. This isn't true - in fact, being lucid and having control are two completely different, unrelated things.

      You can have control and not be lucid.
      You can be lucid and not have any control.

      You can have one without the other. Of course, the main goal of this forum is to gain lucidity AND have control.

      ive never been lucid but ive had control. it is wierd.

      I haven't had a lucid yet but I did have a couple of dreams where I had control. When I'd wake up it would be like "Man, how did I miss being lucid?!?" Anyway, keep tryin, you'll get one eventually.
