heyho
introduction:
this is my first post in this forum.
i've been reading alot of posts in here during the last couple of weeks to "prepare" myself for my first lucid dream.
well.. something before i start:
i want to learn to have lucid dreams (who would have guessed? heh) and therefore i am trying to improve my dream recall. therefor i am trying to stop smoking pot, cause when i do so, i can't remember sh*t
i wanted to quit today... and then this happened last night:
now the important part:
i woke up at about 9am today 'cause my girlfriend got up to learn for her exams.. i decided to sleep a little more. so i turned around and slept again.
my dream:
i was walking down a street in a town with two of my friends. we were searching for a record store (we should have known, where it was, cause it's my favourite one in real life) but couldn't find it. then, suddenly, i was alone and i thought (still dreaming): "ok, they might have found it." so i tried some doors (haha.. how dream-style is this? *g*) when i suddenly thought to myself: "wait a minute! this HAS to be a dream!" .. ... . .. .. "HOLY CRAP!!"
i didn't make an RC, nor have i recognized some kind of dreamsign.. i was just convinced..
it was strange, cause i always thought i would wake up immediatelly when recognizing the first time, that i am dreaming.
but nothing.. and the first thing that comes to my mind is: flying (how lame! ).
so i just fell forward and hovered over the ground.. now.. that was freaking cool! then i decided to fly down from the roof i was standing on (don't ask me, how i got up there.. i have no clue). it worked.. i flew downwards (a little like superman) and through a glass window (which didn't break!).. it was funny, because i thought while flying: "damn.. i hope i am convinced enough to be able to go through that glass to really do so!" haha..
standing on the ground again (some kind of parking lot) the dream started to fade.. i tried to spin like hell but it didn't work. so i had an FA, but didn't recognize that it was an FA (OMG.. my subconcious can be pretty tricky ). it didn't take very long to really wake up and i am very happy that it did, cause otherwise i propably wouldn't have remembered the dream at all (u know.. i haven't stopped smoking weed yet).
some questions:
i think i wasn't fully lucid cause i wasn't THAT excited.
could it be that i have had lucid dreams before i just can't remember and therefore was "prepared".
and i didn't take the time to watch everything around me before i tried to fly..
that's the reason i first thought, that i have dreamed i had a lucid dream.. if you know what i mean.. *gg*..
i guess it was some kind of semi-lucidity, what do you think?
well.. sorry for the long post and thanks to everyone for reading.
ah.. and i gonna post some introduction to myself later.. i just had to write about my FIRST LUCID!! woohoo!
greetings from germany,
georgeblunt
